Workout Wednesdays

Today's workout is a quick, at-home plan you can throw into your schedule any time you have a moment.  Having quick workout plans like this will allow you to stay on track and not lose any of your fitness gains while still maintaining your busy holiday schedule.

Quick Do-Anywhere Circuit: (no excuses!)
20 Jumping Jacks
10 Squats
10 Walking lunges (5 per leg)
20 Jumping Jacks
10 Push-ups
10 Dips (use your couch, or a coffee table)
20 Crunches
10 Jump squats
30 second Plank

Repeat 2-5 times depending on fitness level and the amount of time you have.  If you don't have time to go through the circuit more than once at any given time, don't worry! Just do one circuit now, another one later and another one the next moment you have.  You can definitely split up your workouts into smaller, quick workouts if that better allows you to fit activity into your day.

The holidays are busy and chances are you might miss a workout or two but all you need is 5-10 minutes to knock off one of these circuits and you're working your whole body quickly.  You won't make major gains in muscle mass or cardiovascular fitness with this plan but you will help maintain what you already have and prevent any loss of muscle or cardio fitness.
