
How was everyone's weekend? Mine was awesome! We spent Saturday grilling at the pool with good friends - and grilling is such an easy to eat healthy, delicious food without anyone being stuck in the kitchen all day. I managed a long-ish run on Saturday as well and my hip held up remarkably well which is a great victory! At this rate, I may actually be reading for the SeaWheeze.

Another great thing about today? Yep, it's Canada Day! Even though I don't live there anymore, Canada will always be home and I'll definitely be repping the red and white today - I even started my day with a very red tomato, peppers, cucumber, celery and carrot juice. After a weekend of fun and heading into the July 4th weekend, I thought I better up my nutrients! I'm sure everyone is celebrating in Canada today and unfortunately there isn't much going on down here but we'll definitely be celebrating Canada and the USA all week and weekend. For everyone who is celebrating, remember to indulge in what you really love, skip what you don't and keep moving today!
