Friday Fun - ACL

Hey y'all!

What's everyone got planned for the weekend?? I am hitting up my first ACL (that's Austin City Limits) with my husband but before we go each day, I plan on getting a good workout in! Weekends are notoriously tough times to stick to your healthy lifestyle and while I do believe in indulging a little here and there, you don't want to go crazy and undo the hard work you do each week day by blowing it all on the weekends.

If you know you might indulge a little more on the weekends (a little alcohol, a couple fatty/sugary meals), make sure you break a good sweat before hand.  If you have one unhealthy meal, don't think "oh well, weekend's a write-off, I'll start Monday" - Monday sucks. Right now is much better! Just be healthier at the next meal and move a little more.

I am looking forward to seeing a few bands I've heard of, a few I haven't heard of and enjoying a couple drinks and fun foods with my husband over the weekend but I don't want to feel gross by Monday so I'll be selective in what I eat and I'll be making sure we're walking around a bunch.
