When I signed up for the Tough Mudder and the SeaWheeze I told myself that no matter how hard they were, all I had to do was keep putting one foot in front of the other and eventually I'd be at the finish line. When I decided to compete, I knew that wouldn't work, so I told myself just keep focusing on one meal, one workout and eventually I'd be ready (I hoped!). As both the half marathon and Mudder approached, I was almost dreading them - I was scared! And although I'm scared again - it'd be nuts not to be a little intimidated - I am also really excited! I've worked hard for this!
I know competing isn't something everyone gets or wants to do but for me, it's the ultimate challenge for a gym junkie like me. I want to see exactly what I'm capable of achieving with my body and I have to say, I like what I see!
