Workout Wednesdays



Not an actual workout today but some advice. When you don't feel like working out, going through the motions beats doing nothing. When you don't want to workout, show up anyway. 

Here's the thing, even the most dedicated athletes have off days. Have days where they don't want to train. Have days where the old, lazy life feels easier. That's ok. We're human. But show up anyway. 

I'm not a Woody Allen fan but I totally agree with him on this "80% of success is just showing up."

I wasn't feeling my workouts lately but I went anyway. I sought support and guidance from my girl Carla (Instagram @original_recipecj - go follow her!) and from my trainer. I picked new goals. I CHOSE to stay discipline and focused even when my heart wasn't 100% in it. 

Cause here's the thing: you will have off days, you will have low motivation, it will be hard, it will be exhausting. Oh yeah, and it will be so worth it! 

So even when you're not feeling it at all, put the outfit on, show up. The odds are pretty good that you'll be happy you did!
